This is very common habit of most of men.
Discuss with him about your bad feelings, he will improve if he really cares for you (as you said he loves you much and care for you).
Does he ejaculate early? (I mean intercourse ends in very short time, before you get satisfied?). If he does, you need to convince him for taking treatment for his Premature Ejaculation.
